Best Foundation to Cover Your Acne for Special Occasions

Acne can be par for the course whether you have PCOS or any hormonal issue. It can affect your self-image and derail your spirits. Trust me I know! But there are ways to cover a breakout, and my quick tip comes straight from a celebrity makeup artist.

Makeup can do wonders when you use the right products and application methods. Knowing what to use to cover acne without looking cakey is a common dilemma. Not all products are created equal! So what should you use when you have a big event coming up?

I reached out to celebrity makeup artist JoJo McCarthy for the answer to this essential question. Here’s what she had to say, “It’s pricey; however, Dior [Airflash] Foundation is my favorite for covering acne without looking like you have a lot on.”

While this might not be something you would use every day considering that it is quite expensive, it is something to keep in mind when special events come up. It would be worth the investment to look and feel your best! If you are on a budget, I have read that Sephora's Perfection Mist Airbrush Foundation is a dupe.
