This blog is a very personal and sentimental one for me because I finally can reveal our Big News!

I'm so excited to share with you that my husband and I are pregnant with our first child!

We are overjoyed and thrilled to be to become parents. We feel incredibly blessed to be bringing a life into this world and are grateful every day for this experience.

When I saw the strong positive on the pregnancy test, I didn’t believe it! So I took several more tests (let me tell you the Dollar Tree ones are accurate with first-morning urine) and my husband said to me, “Those lit up like a Christmas tree, You’re Pregnant!”

My Husband and I showing our ultrasound from 8 weeks. Can't Wait to Be Mom and DAd! :)

As of right now, I'm 14 weeks pregnant and currently in my second trimester. I've been blessed so far and am having an easy pregnancy. I have not experienced morning sickness and despite having extreme tiredness and A LOT of food aversions, I am feeling great! They baby is doing amazing too; the initial ultrasound and appointments have all been perfect. There is nothing like hearing the heartbeat going whoosh for the very first time! Every time I get to hear those perfect beats, my heart melts. I can’t wait to be able to hold this baby in my arms and to experience all of the joys of parenthood.

Despite having PCOS I was able to conceive naturally.

A lot of doctors told me that it would be difficult to become pregnant on my own and that I should consider seeking the help of a reproductive endocrinologist if I couldn’t get pregnant naturally in 6 months. Well, I didn’t listen to them (if you read my blog regularly you know I don’t listen when people tell me I can’t do something) and I focused on healing myself naturally. I took the steps that I needed to become healthy and happy and, once I did that, I became pregnant naturally!

It is possible to have a baby with PCOS. Don’t let anyone tell you differently or take away your hopes and dreams.

I can't wait to share my journey and experiences with you and to help you on yours. My goal with this blog is to help and empower other women to live healthy and happy lives. I try to post tips and tricks that have helped me get healthy and that have produced positive results. I am a living example that with positive changes you can achieve your goals and be the healthiest you have ever been.
